About Electric by D’Ieteren (EDI)
EDI is bringing the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem to the next level in Belgium by providing turn-key solutions from the purchase decision to the daily usage of an EV. More specifically EDI is selling charging stations with installation and services such as connectivity, split billing, energy management and charging cards in a seamless way to EV drivers and fleet managers. EDI is a fully owned subsidiary of D’Ieteren Auto and aims at becoming the #1 EV charging player in Belgium.
Who we’re looking for
EDI is looking for an experienced, self-driven and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to realize on-site visits, design, offers and installation supervision of complex charging and energy management projects (ex: more than 5 chargers). Customer satisfaction is central to EDI’s approach: listening and advising customers in a highly professional manner with the right technical solution and a rigorous project delivery are essential aspects of the function. You will be reporting to the Head of Technology & Charging Projects.
Responsibilities
✓ End-to-end management of complex technical projects (B2B buildings, large parkings,...). Starting with a detailed analysis of the customer needs and an accurate electrical analysis of the existing installation. Considering all technical elements, constraints and the customer’s needs, a solution is designed and proposed to the client in a transparent and convincing way. After validation by the customer, the installation is conducted together with all stakeholders (such as suppliers, subcontractors, certification body, ...) in order to deliver the project in line with the mutually agreed set up and in line with the anticipated costs. The whole process leads a satisfied customer willing to work again with EDI in the future.
✓ Close collaboration with EDI Key Account Managers who are in the lead for the commercial contact with the customer
✓ Supervision & steering of technicians, subcontractors and suppliers executing the project installation correctly, efficiently and safely
✓ Maintain and manage relationships with selected & future suppliers to analyse which technical solutions fit best with the customer needs, coordinate the logistics process and obtain the best deals in terms of value for money
✓ Screen the market for the most suitable charging solutions and energy management systems
✓ Contribute to the continuous growth of EDI
✓ The focus area of the projects will be on Wallonia
Requirements
✓ +5 years of hands-on experience in electricity works for non-residential/industrial buildings
✓ Master’s degree in electrical engineering
✓ Prior experiences in end-to-end project management with multiple stakeholders involved
✓ Accurate and rigorous, with an ability to think of process improvement, beyond problem solving
✓ Outstanding technical, decision-making and leadership skills with a team player spirit
✓ Excellent verbal and written conversation in French and/or Dutch. Bilingual is a strong plus.
