Over Electric by D’Ieteren (EDI)

Electric by D’Ieteren is a growing company that offers an ecosystem of smart charging solutions for all electric vehicles. As part of the IT & Process Excellence team, you will work on business solutions primarily based on Odoo, as well as utilizing O365 and Azure (API) to provide day-to-day services and connect with third-party services. You will also have the opportunity to work with external IT platforms, such as EVC-NET, which allows for the remote management of chargers and access to public chargers.

We are seeking an experienced IT Frontend Specialist to join our team and work on 2 key projects : an energy management system and a CPO/MSP platform. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build new energy products and services that will complete our energy ecosystem offering. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement user-facing features for web and mobile applications

• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing layouts and interfaces

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Work with the backend team to integrate with server-side logic

• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

As a hands-on and autonomous team member, you will take ownership of your assignments and deliver high quality results. You will work closely with your colleagues to produce the best deliverables through peer review and user demos. You should have a strong understanding of software development principles and frontend technologies, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue, is also required, knowledge of OWL is a plus. You should be familiar with responsive design and mobile development, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also essential.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software development principles and frontend technologies

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile development

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of GitHub version control

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position

• Fluency in English, French, or Dutch
